Businesses bring together people and stuff and do something to it. We have accountants and auditors to test if companies are using money effectively.
Why do we not audit the processes that create the money in similar levels of detail, especially as the money would not exist without these processes?
Where are the professional logistics auditors, who look at all flows inside and outside an organisation and ask do they make sense?
We have just in time and similar, but I am unaware of businesses taking whole system approaches, for example how do people get from x to y, why do we make most people move at specific times causing the rush hour?
Are these not obvious questions? Why are we causing that person or that thing or both together to move from there to there then? What happens at the beginning and end of these journeys? How do I move stock from x to a shop to a home? How do I store it and process it in the factory, the warehouse, the shop, the home?
What does experience of inclusion and sustainability have to offer as solutions to these questions?
